A huge thanks to all who attended Icreon’s Nonprofit Roundtable event at NYY Steak! With Mike Benyo of New York Road Runners and Ken Winell of The Robin Hood Foundation leading our discussion, we loved the chance to explore some of the biggest trends that are affecting nonprofit digital strategy in 2014. Here is an overview of some of the great discussion! Among the guests were the Clinton Foundation, Jawonio, the American Bible Society, Abbott House, OneVoice Movement, ProBono Net, New York Cares, and the Statue of Liberty / Ellis Island Foundation. Over the course of the discussion, we covered everything from what it takes to “Tell Your Story,” to reaching out to new millennial donors, to safely managing social media efforts. We also got the chance to hear from nonprofit peers, who outlined some of the issues facing their own organizations. By outlining some industry best practices, we covered the ideal approaches to all facets of the digital ecosystem, from responsive websites, to Constituent Relationship Management, to mass communications in the digital age.
