With Mike Benyo of New York Road Runners and Ken Winell of The Robin Hood Foundation leading our discussion, we loved the chance to explore some of the biggest trends that are affecting nonprofit digital strategy in 2014. Here is an overview of some of the great discussion! The Details: Topic: Better Technology Through Digital Date: November 13, 2014 Location: NYY Steak, 51st St. NYC Thursday’s event focused specifically on the ways that nonprofits can shape their digital strategies, leveraging industry trends and open discussion to provide valuable insights. Among the guests were the Clinton Foundation, Jawonio, the American Bible Society, Abbott House, OneVoice Movement, ProBono Net, New York Cares, and the Statue of Liberty / Ellis Island Foundation. Over the course of the discussion, we covered everything from what it takes to “Tell Your Story,” to reaching out to new millennial donors, to safely managing social media efforts. We also got the chance to hear from nonprofit peers, who outlined some of the issues facing their own organizations.
